Hair Transformation Is Just a Call Away
John Frieda wanted to prove that great hair doesn't wait for a salon appointment: any moment can be a great hair moment. So we built the Hot Hair Hotline: a real hotline, inspired by the 1-800 numbers of the '90s, where women called to get product advice and watch before-and-after transformations worth dialing for.
Brooks Nader hosted, and her three sisters each called in with their own hair dilemmas. Then we showed the John Frieda transformation. The platform rolled out across digital, social, OOH, and the hotline itself, kicking off ahead of a NY Fashion Week event where press got the Nader sisters and the hotline live.
The hotline wasn't a metaphor. It was a working invitation to pick up the phone. A '90s gag gave a heritage hair brand permission to be playful again — and turned product advice into entertainment.
